3433706 - Value help for WBS element not returning chosen entry

When creating a Service Entry Sheet, if a user enters an account assignment category 'P', then tries to select a
WBS element from the value help of the WBS element field, the entry chosen is not returned as expected.  

 

SAP S/4Hana Cloud 
SAP S/4Hana On-Premise release 2023
SAP S/4Hana On-Premise release 2024 

- Create a Service Purchase Order with product type group '2' and an unknown account assignment category 
- Open APP Manage Service Entry Sheets and create a SES for this purchase order 
- Enter account assignment category 'P' 
- In the Account Assignment facet choose a WBS element from the value help for the field 
- The WBS element selected does not return to the UI 

Program error which has been fixed in SAP S/4Hana Cloud CE2408 and SAP S/4Hana On-Premise release 2025

The WBS element needs to be entered manually for the moment.
Users can use the value help to select the WBS element and copy it for manual entry.
