3433947 - Unable to Connect in AO using BW INA Provider in EPM

Symptom

The user is unable to connect to BW AO queries via EPM plugin with the following two options:

  • When connecting with a Local connection, the user gets the error message: “Error while communicating with the server”
  • When connecting with a SAP BW (INA Provider) connection, the user get the error message: “Name or password is incorrect (repeat logon)”
    “The remote server returned an error: (404) Not found.”
