Symptom

  • SAP system shutdown
  • Following logs can be seen in dev_disp (or dev_disp.old(after the restarting)) :

                DpSigInt: caught signal 2
                DpSigInt: should not return
                DpLoopExec: Exit requested, shut down

        or

                DpHalt: shutdown server >hostname_SID_nr                         < (normal)

  • or following logs can be seen in ASCS message server trace dev_ms:

                [Thr XXXXXXXXXXX] MsSExit: received SIGINT (2)
                [Thr XXXXXXXXXXX] Server state SHUTDOWN
