Symptom

After having upgraded SAP IQ the NLS connection test fails with error:

connection test from BW to NLS system fails with below error.
DM3NLS Database connection DM3NLS: SQL error 829- [IQ Error SQL-829:08S01][SQL Anywhere]TLS handshake failure
