Error FCO_AVC_PS004 'There's no budget available for project XXXXXX', ‘XXXXX WBS Element budget exceeded’ while,

• creating a PR/PO.
• posting a document.
• transfering a budget.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

During transferring budget, say if the budget availability control profile PS001 (Maintained in the project master data) was used and then semantic tag ACT_COST (maintained in the SSCUI Maintain Budget Availability Control for Projects) is considered;

Then the available budget of WBS element/ Project definition, is calculated based on planning data for those G/L accounts with semantic tag ACT_COST. If the GL account used for budgeting/planning is not assigned to the semantic tag ACT_COST, then the error obtained as expected.

To solve the issue

• maintain semantic tag ACT_COST on the GL account, or
• maintain budget on WBS with G/L Account having the semantic tag ACT_COST .
