3435270 - Is it possible to change Account Principle once postings have been created.

You have created a company by using Accounting Principles as XYZ (XYZ represents the Accounting Principle code).

You now need to change the Accounting Principles to ABC (ABC represents the Accounting Principle code).

It is not possible to change the Accounting Principle

Accounting principles define how certain transactions are to be posted and reported. The accounting principle also defines the fixed asset valuation views, account determination configurations, to name a few.

There are so many areas that are influenced by the accounting principle. It is not possible to make this change.

If you need to change the Accounting Principle you need to set up the Company again and assign the correct accounting principle.
