3435681 - Some type of connections are not visible in Select Data Source dialog to create New Model Type in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

• The following type of connections are not visible in Select Data Source dialog to New Model Type (with measure) in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
  • SAP Concur
  • SAP ERP
  • SAP Fieldglass

• SAP Analytics Cloud, Enterprise Edition 2024 QRC1

1. Log on to SAC tenant.
2. Navigate to Model.
3. Try to create a new model.
4. Choose Start with data.
   => Some type of connections, like SAP ERP, SAP Concur, SAP Fieldglass are not listed in Select a data source dialog.

• The modeler now defaults to create New Model type with measure (see detail about such model type from SAC Help).
• In current version of SAC, these models do not support legacy data sources like SAP Concur, SAP ERP and SAP Fieldglass.

• It is considered as enhancement request to support such connection type to create new model type.
• Please submit one new idea in customer influence site https://influence.sap.com/sap/ino/#/campaign/884. 

Workaround:  To acquire data from those legacy data sources, create a "Classic" model instead by clicking on the link at the bottom of the Create Model dialog.
