3436127 - How to Change Site URL of the Career Site - Recruiting Marketing

This KBA explains the process of changing or updating the URL of the RMK Career Site.

Note: Before proceeding with the steps below. Make sure that you have reviewed the impacts of updating the RMK Site URL documented on the KBA 2962007 - Impacts of updating the RMK Site URL - Recruiting Marketing. The steps only covers how to successfully update the Site URL in which it will be accessible to candidates.  

1. Prepare the SSL Certificate that will be used for the new URL of the career site. This can be done by the CSB Admin or the implementation partner working with you for this change. 
2. The CNAME of the current RMK Site URL must also be added on the new URL that will be used as the new RMK Site URL. 
3. To identify the CNAME, you can use this link or you can also use other sites which will allow you to identify the CNAME of your career site. 
4. Once the new SSL Certificate is Installed and the CNAME is in place for the new RMK Site URL, then the Site URL in CSB can now be updated with the new Site URL. This can be done by the CSB admin or Implementation partner who has access in CSB. 
5. And lastly, the configuration RMK Portal and RMK Job Search URL under Configure Recruiting Marketing Datacenter URL in Provisioning needs to be updated with the new RMK Site URL. This can be done by the implementation partner.
