Symptom

"Check for duplicates" button is not available under Partner Contacts OWL View. 

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer 

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the affected tenant.
  2. Go to 'Partners' Work Center.
  3. Open 'Partner contacts' view and check that button is missing from OWL.

Resolution

As for now system design offers the duplicate check functionality for the most prominent business partner roles (in the corresponding business partner role specific for Quick Create View), partner contact is not such a prominent Business Partner role.
