3437556 - Service Binding Option Missing For Subscription While Integrating Peppol Exchange With SAP Business ByDesign

Symptom

User not able to create a service instance for SAP Document and Reporting Compliance, Cloud Edition since service binding option missing while integrating Peppol Exchange With SAP Business ByDesign.

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Cause

User has to use appropriate plan for the subscription and for service instance.

Resolution

SAP Document and Reporting, cloud edition works with a subscription and a service instance and both subscription and service instance are required to be in the same BTP subaccount.

The plan for the subscription varies according to the purchased SKU and the purpose whether it is for Production subaccount or Test subaccount.

User has to choose right plan to create the service binding for the service instance. Plan for the service instance is always 'default' but plan for "subscription" varies for Production and test subaccount .

For Test subaccount: User has to use 'test' plan for the subscription and 'default' plan for the service instance.

For Productive subaccount : User has to use 'standard' plan for the subscription and 'default' plan for the service instance.

NOTE: Even after using correct plan if user is facing issue , to fix the issue SAP recommend to delete the service instance which is already created and next to delete the subscription which is in error . Further retry creating the subscription first and then the service instance.
