3437592 - Business Partner Relationship Is Not Replicating From ECC to C4C via BAdI COD_UTIL_BP

Symptom

You are replicating the business partner relationship from ECC to C4C using the BAdI COD_UTIL_BP_REL. However, the replication has not been initiated, indicating that there has been no outbound message dispatched to C4C.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer
SAP ECC Utilities

Reproducing the Issue

Go to the t-code BP.
Search and open the Business Partner ID 12345 (where 12345 means the ECC Business Partner ID).
Click on Relationship.
Select the Relationship Category.
Add the Relationship to BP.
Save it.

The relationship is not reflected in C4C and there is no web service message reaching the system.

Cause

Although the event type linkage is created for Business Partner in ECC and the BAdI COD_UTIL_BP_REL is correctly set, the event linkage is not activated as per the screenshot below:

Resolution

You need to activate the event linkage to trigger the replication of relationship from ECC to C4C.
