3437598 - Deletion of Company not possible even if the organizational structure is not yet confirmed in SAP Central Business Configuration

Symptom

  • When it is necessary to delete a Company in Set Up Organizational Structure app.
  • If a wrong company code is deleted and a new one with the same ID and correct data is created, an error is received when trying to create a corresponding company: Organization Unit with the same ID and Type already exists.

  • In both cases, the organizational structure is not yet confirmed.
