Symptom

  • What is the maximum character limit on the title of a custom card? 
  • What is the maximum character limit on the subtitle of a custom card? 
  • On Manage Home Page -> Organizational Updates and when creating a custom card, how long can my title and subtitle be? 
  • Why is the title and subtitle on the custom cards being truncated?  

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Core 

Resolution

The maximum number of characters for both title and subtitle on a custom card is 40. The number of characters that will be displayed on the UI, including the spaces, are 24.
