3437959 - Multi-location Job Requisition field values not localized in RMK - Recruiting Marketing

When a multi-location job requisition is posted to RMK, the location is not shown in the local language.

It is a system limitation when using the EC owned Location Foundation Object.

To post a Job Requisition with multiple location values, you need to map "location_obj" field with City, State, Country and Postal/Zip Code under Setup Recruiting Marketing Job Field Mapping page(see KBA 2688516).

RMK fetches City, State, Country and Postal/Zip Code values from the Business Address section of the location object. These fields are text type fields, so they don't have translations for multiple languages.

If you wish to use multi-location with multiple languages, please use the Recruiting owned Job Location object ("sfstd_jobLocation_obj") instead. This recruiting specific Generic Object offers translation capabilities among many other features. For more information see Job Location Generic Objects on Job Requisition

Note that although this GO can be mapped in the same way the FO was for legacy RMK it is best used with the Unified Data Model.
