3438116 - Unable to see the Page Navigation after converting an Application from Classic Mode to Story 2.0.

Symptom

The navigation for pages is missing after converting an Analytic Application from Classic Mode to Story 2.0 (Optimized Design Mode/ ODE).

Environment

SAP Analytics Cloud 2024.2.8.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create an Analytic Application in Classic Mode.
  2. Convert this Application to Story 2.0 (Optimized Design Mode/ ODE).
  3. Add some new Pages to this converted story.
  4. Launch the converted story in View Mode, and users do not see any new pages or the option to go to any new pages.

Cause

After converting to a unified story (Story 2.0), it is by default showing only one page to align with the previous behavior from Analytic Application.

Resolution

  1. Open the outline panel by clicking on "View" in the toolbar and selecting "Left Side Panel".
  2. In the outline panel, click on "Story -> Global Setting -> Navigation".
  3. On the Navigation setting panel, will find options such as "Tabs" or "Dropdown".
  4. Choose the option that suits your preference.
