3438340 - Changes and required actions related to Planned Production migration - Recruiting Marketing

The enablement of the new Unified Data Model features mandate that RMK and BizX are located within the same region.

As part of our continued efforts to deliver the best service possible to our customers, SAP is undertaking a project in 2025 to migrate our Recruiting Marketing (RMK) customers to DCs matching the HXM suite.
This migration will be completed to co-locate your RMK and BizX tenants in the same region, supporting the new Unified Data Model. 
For those customers moving to a different region, this migration will come with a few important changes.

This KBA is intended to highlight these changes and any associated actions for our customers.

The dates for the migration of your systems will be communicated through existing e-mail notifications for SuccessFactors, starting from May 2025 onwards.

Change to IP address

The IP address for the RMK service (PortalURL) will be changed based on the destination datacenter.

Eg.: if the customer is migrated to DC62, the IP address for their RMK URL will be: 20.201.47.58 

Required Actions: If you have any allowlisting on the networks you use to access your Production Instance of Recruiting Marketing and/or you have any third party integrations that limit connectivity to or from our servers please make sure that you update any appropriate ACL with the new IP address and domain.

Change to Email notification domains

The email domain for job notification and campaign emails will also be changed for those customers being relocated across regions.
Current email domains (Career Site Builder – Settings – Site Configuration – Job Alert Settings): @noreply.jobs2web.com 
The sender domain will be changed, depending on the new DC location.

Required Actions: If you have any outlook rules configured or any allowlisting in place on the email domain, please make sure you update the domain information.

DNS configuration with A-record
Even though a CNAME entry pointing to the RMK URL is the recommended configuration, you may be using an A-Record instead. In this case you must make sure you change the IP address in your DNS configuration to point to the new IP address of the datacenter as soon as possible after the migration date. 
Note if this is not done within 10 days following the migration date your site will stop working.
The new IP addresses based on your destination datacenter are listed in the table at the bottom of this KBA.

If you are using a WAF (Web Application Firewall) please contact your administrator to make sure your configuration is updated accordingly.
