3438642 - Incorrect Balance Shown In Employment Details Portlet

Symptom

In Employment Details -> Time off balances as of termination date, incorrect balance is shown.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Time Off

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Search for inactive employee
  2. Navigate to Employment Details portlet.
  3. Time off balances as of termination date is showing incorrect balance (i.e it doesn't match with the Time Account balance in Admin Workbench).

Resolution

  • It is recommended to assign a Termination Rule to Time Account Types which have any kind of accrual rule(say only Hire rule is assigned to a Time Account Type). 
  • Go to Manage Data -> Select Time Account Type, and add a rule in Termination Rule.
