3438701 - Accruals Are Not Posted In Time Account On Termination Of Employee

• Employee is terminated, but the accrual amount is not recalculate and posted in the Time Account.
• In employment details, the prorated amount is displaying, but it's not getting posted as Time Account posting.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Time Off

1. Go to Employee Profile
2. Take action -> Termination -> Set past dated effective date, and other mandatory details.
3. The "Time Off Balances as of Termination Date", shown the prorated amount.
4. Save the record 
5. Check Administer Time -> Time account  -> Recalculated amount is not updated. 

The missing accrual recalculation when terminating an employee in the past occurs under the following conditions:

• Termination end handling is active
• The termination is done in the past
• The user is also relevant for time sheet processing

• This is currently a limitation. Engineering team is working on an enhancement, but the date is not confirmed yet (Enhancement Ticket Number: TIM-40434)
• Please reach out to your CSM/CEE to track the progress of the enhancement.

Workaround:

1. Increase Offset for termination end handling execution

• In Manage Data -> Termination end handling configuration, define the number of days after the termination date the system should start termination end handling. You could increase the value so that processing is scheduled for the future.
• For example, if terminations are entered up to 1 week in the past, an offset of 8 days could be defined.
• NOTE: This would also lead to a later execution of termination end handling for future dated terminations.

OR

2.Create and Start Time Management Recalculation Event after past dated termination.

• Manage Data -> Create new 'Time Management Recalculation Event' for the employee with the last working day(of employee) as date, the system recalculates the accruals as expected.
