3438853 - Solr version showing differently in HAC and Solr dashboard - SAP Commerce Cloud

Symptom

When checking the changes after upgrading Solr from Solr 8.x to Solr 9.x, Solr dashboard shows version as 9.x but upon checking the below property:

  • "solrserver.solr.server.version" in HAC, it shows 8.11.x

Note: trying to overriding that property in local.properties and set the value to 9.5, cause a deployment fail.
