3438961 - Recalculation Posting is not Correct During Change of Job Info Field

Symptom

A Job Information field, for example, Employment Type is configured as a recalculation field. 
However when the field is changed in Job Info, recalculation is not posting the expected amount in the Time Account

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite
  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

Reproducing the Issue

  1. In the accrual rule, the function Calculate Average Value For Numeric Job Info Field() is used
  2. Make changes to the field Employment Type in Job Info
  3. Check the Time Account
  4. The posting amount is not calculated as expected

Cause

This is due to the accrual rule configuration

Resolution

To calculate the average based on the change of the employment type, you need to define a custom numeric field in the Job Info called "Entitlement value". Set this value using Job Info save rule when the employment type changes.
