3439101 - Performance issues while exporting a story as a .TGZ file in SAP Analytics Cloud

The export file takes minutes to initialize and processes thousands of steps, causing performance issues in the tenant.

1. Logon to the SAP Analytics Cloud tenant
2. From the main menu, go to Transport and then to Export
3. Switch to File System
4. Select the desired story
5. Hit the "Export" button 
6. Note that the status will remain "Unprocessed" for some minutes without initializing the export
7. After initializing, the export perform thousands of steps.

The story you try to export has a huge number of bookmarks.

Ask the users to reduce the bookmarks they use. Once the total number of bookmarks is reduced, the export workflow will work.

• Workaround: Transport the object via Content Network.
  Since the story has huge number of objects, it will take time to perform export, but in Content Network export happens in the background. Therefore, it is possible to trigger the export, give it some time, and the export will be completed.
