3439264 - Error: "An exception was raised" in Migrate Your Data

Symptom

When trying to load data with the Data Migration, the xml file has been uploaded, then select the 'Prepare' button and the error message "An exception was raised", and "The preparation step has failed for one or more migration objects. Navigate to the "Monitoring" screen for details." shown in the popup.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Access the 'Migrate your data' app.
  2. Select a migration project.
  3. In a migration object, select the 'Prepare' button.
  4. Select the 'Prepare Staging Tables' button. 

Resolution

Check if this template is with the newest version.

If not, kindly download a new xml template and try again.
