3439570 - Integration Center: Gateway timeout error while saving the integration

Symptom

You wish to find out why the following error is being thrown by one of your Integration Center jobs:

An error occurred while saving the integration. Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Integration Center

Cause

This issue may arise when the Integration Center job contains extensive data exceeding 3MB in the ICD file, and numerous versions of the job are being maintained.

Resolution

Please note that our Engineering team are working to remediate this error in the long run, and a number of other options are being evaluated (our internal reference INT-17747). Until then, please evaluate the feasibility of implementing one of the following workarounds:

  • Check the number of versions being maintained and consider cloning the existing job to avoid excessive versioning.
  • Rule out a local network issue; e.g. please try again after some time and/or consult with your local IT department.
