Symptom

How to activate the 'Send on Behalf Using Account Team Members on the Account' functionality.

 

Environment

SAP Marketing Cloud Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Logon to marketing tenant and configure the prerequisite to enable Send on Behalf Using Account Team Members on the Account
  2. Create a new email or use existing email content.
  3. Under Settings, in the 'Advanced Send On Behalf Personalization' section, our Account Team member cannot be selected.  

      

Cause

Configuration Issue

Resolution

  1. The 'Advanced Send On Behalf Personalization' setting enables the Advanced Send on Behalf of the account level.
  2. In case function is not working, check the documentation prerequisites, edit the mail and remove the Role of Account Team Member. Then fill in the role and release the content again. 
  3. Email content that is already released is not impacted when you activate or deactivate the Advanced Send on Behalf setting. However, when you edit email content that was created before activating or deactivating Advanced Send on Behalf, the system automatically adjusts the values if possible.
