Symptom

Advanced send on behalf using the account team member on the account does not work.

 

Environment

SAP Marketing Cloud Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Logon to marketing tenant and configure the prerequisite to enable Email Using Send on Behalf
  2. create a new email or use existing email content.
  3. Under Settings, in the Advanced Send On Behalf Personalization section.  

Cause

Configuration Issue

Resolution

  • The advanced setting enable the Advanced Send on Behalf of the account level.
  • In case function is not working, edit the mail and remove the Role of Account Team Member, fill the role and release the content again. 
  • Email content that is already released is not impacted when you activate or deactivate the Advanced Send on Behalf setting. However, when you edit email content that was created before activating or deactivating Advanced Send on Behalf, the system automatically adjusts the values if possible.
