3439808 - Automatic Deletion Not Picking The Obsolete Customers

Symptom

User notices that all obsolete customers are not picked up for automatic deletion. It is not taking the entire data.

For Ex: 1000 Customers, It is taking 500 , 400 and 100 users every time with different runs.

SAP Cloud for Customer core applications

Reproducing the Issue

Navigate to Data Protection and Privacy work center
Go to Common Tasks view.
Choose "Administer Obsolete Business Partner Removal Runs"

All obsolete customers are not picked up for automatic deletion.

Cause

There are few possible reasons for a customer/business partner not getting picked up in the obsolete deletion run.

1. The termination date(Date of Obsolete) of the business partner does not match the value which is mentioned in the code for deletion run.

2. The country value of the business partner is blank.

Go to Business Partner Data work center
Go to Business Partners view
In details Tab
Country data is not available

Resolution

This is system expected behavior.
