3439885 - Cannot select "Automatic Approval" in Contract Approval Process

The "Automatic Approval" option in the Contract Approval Process has been greyed out, making it unavailable for selection.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Administrator work center
2. Approval Processes View
3. Search the Approval Process you need to modify
4. Click on Edit, or click Copy to create a new one in draft status
5. Go to the Process Step
6. Cannot select the "Automatic Approval" indicator as it is grey out

The "Automatic Approval" indicator will be enabled or disabled based on the rule calculations for work distribution.

Please follow the below steps to enable the Automatic Approval:

1. Select on any item of the Process Step
2. Clear the work distribution
3. The "Automatic Approval" will be editable after clear the work distribution

Note:
You can select the work distribution again whatever it is required.
