Symptom
It has been observed that the "My Open Visits" query displays visits from other users.
Environment
SAP Cloud for Customer
Reproducing the Issue
- Login as User: ABC (where ABC represents the user ID)
- Navigate to the Visits work center
- Proceed to My Open Visits
- User ABC has visibility to visit ID: XYZ (where XYZ represents the visit ID) belonging to a different user.
Cause
If you are seeing visits from other users in this view, it is likely because you are set as the organizer or substitute for these visits. This could be because the original owner is out of office or unavailable, and you have been assigned as their substitute.
Resolution
My Visit: includes all visits where the logged-in user is either the owner, organizer, or attendee. This means that if the user is involved in any capacity in a visit, it will be included in the "My Visit" query.
My Team's Visit: takes into account the organizational units of both the owners and attendees of visits. If the logged-in user is a manager or employee and belongs to the same organizational unit as the owner or attendee of a visit, or if the logged-in user is a manager of a parent organizational unit, the related visits will be displayed in the "My Team's Visits" query.
In summary, "My Visit" includes visits where the logged-in user is directly involved, while "My Team's Visit" includes visits where the logged-in user's organizational unit is connected to the owner or attendee of the visit.
