3440120 - Transactions CA97 and CA97N do not behave the same for production versions maintained in quota arrangement configuration

Symptom

T-code CA97 is working based on the correct configurations regarding production versions (t-code C223) and quota arrangements(MEQ1), whereas transaction code CA97N is not considering the production version maintenance of the material in quota arrangement and picks the first active and valid production version maintained for the material.
