3440214 - Entries in Activity UK Making Tax Digital Need to be Deleted for Inactive User

You have a situation where an employee left the company, and now you need to remove data maintained in the business configuration activity UK Making Tax Digital. However the data maintained by the user is not visible.

The UK Making Tax Digital business configuration activity is user-specific, which means that it is expected that the users will only see the data maintained by themselves in this activity.

Since the activity restriction currently cannot be bypassed, it is suggested to temporarily unlock the business user, and use it to log in and modify the activity as required.

This can be done by following the below steps:

1. Go to the Application and User Management work center.
2. Enter the Business Users view.
3. Search for the relevant user.
4. Click on the Edit button.
5. Click on the Attributes option.

Here you can unlock the user through the "User Locked" checkbox, and also change the e-mail address if required (since the new password will by default be sent to the e-mail address registered).
