3440501 - Invalid Production Model is Proposed as Source of Supply When Create New Production Order

When creating new production order through common task New Production Order, you find system proposes invalid production model.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to work center Production Control.
2. Access common task New Production Order.
3. Maintain Product, Site, and Quantity.
4. Press Enter button on the keyboard, you can see REM A is proposed in Source of Supply ID.
5. Check in work center Planning and Production Master Data view Production Models, for this product, there are two production models A and B. A has a past date as Valid to while B has a future date in Valid to.

Though you have changed valid to date in the master data of production model A, but didn't release it yet. Only after the model is released and the maintained valid to date reflects in the latest released execution model, will the maintained valid to date being considered in new production order creation.

Please release production model A and try creating new production order again.
