3440842 - No data is shown in the drop-down list when changing the ship-to party of sales order item in the "Manage Sales Orders - Version 2" app

Symptom

When changing the ship-to party of sales order item in the "Manage Sales Orders - Version 2" app, the drop-down list for ship-to party does not work. When manually typing the customer number, it is reflected in the field but in the drop-down list no data is shown. It is expected that the list of customers can be shown in the drop-down list.
