Symptom
The assigned employee to the Knowledge Transfer Task in Offboarding cannot submit the task and you confirmed that all the permissions are granted and the target population to "All Employees" is assigned.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding
Cause
- The permission role, which have the Offboarding permissions granted, has the target population configured for candidate access only to their self date.
- Go to "Manage Permission Roles" > Select the role > go to Target Population > Edit granting > The option "Granted User (Self)" will be selected
Resolution
It will be necessary to create another role and to restrict just the permissions for Offboarding, in order to include the target population assigned to the permission group on this scenario.
However, this is an implementation decision, and it will will be necessary to evaluate considering the business needs and if required, contact the SAP Implementation Partner.
The following steps will be necessary for this scenario to work:
- The user need to be added to a role with the Offboarding permissions.
- The target population 'Everyone - All employees' must be present and granted to the employee's permission group without the configuration to "Granted User (Self).
- And both employees needs to be included in the same permission group to see their information.
