Symptom
When selecting a quick search, the following error appears:
"Quick search cannot be performed due to view configuration or Customizing"
Details:
The quick search cannot be performed. This could be due to the following causes:
- A search attribute included in the quick search is not available in the current UI configuration.
- A main category included in the quick search is not included in the relevant agent inbox (inbox) profile.
System Response
The quick search has been canceled.
Procedure
Contact your system administrator.
Procedure for System Administration
- Ensure that all search attributes that are included in the quick search are contained in the relevant search view configuration.
- Ensure that all main categories that are included in the quick search are assigned to the relevant inbox profiles.
