3441455 - Fields in contract are not editable

Custom and standard fields are not editable for some contracts with status obsolete, for others they are editable.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to Contracts Work center.
2. Open a contract with obsolete status, some fields are editable.
3. Open another contract with obsolete status, both Custom and Standard fields are not editable.

The Contract Life Cycle Status "Obsolete" is not related to this. From Contract standard side we allow editing obsolete Contracts.

The contract has Root Cancellation Status = Cancelled. From Contract standard side it is not allowed to edit cancelled Contracts.

When there is a value in the Reason for Rejection field at Header or reason for rejection field has been set for all the items in items tab, Root Cancellation Status = Cancelled.

Don't select any value in the Reason for Rejection field at Header or all the items if the contract need to be edited.
