3441511 - How to change the empty Date display in flat presentation in SAP Analytics Cloud stories?

• By default, when date dimension is set to be displayed as flat presentation, 0() is displayed for empty date value.
• Is there any method to change this display value for empty date?

SAP Analytics Cloud 2024.2

1. Log on to SAP Analytics Cloud and create a story based on an acquired data model. 
2. Add a table and add a Date dimension which contains empty date into this table.
3. Change this Date hierarchy display as Flat presentation.
4. Note that, for empty date, it displays as 0().

Using the following step to customize the display of the empty date. This example will change the default display to character -.

1. Edit the acquired data model. 
2. Open the Date dimension to edit.
3. Set Default Booking Behavior as Book to Unassigned.
4. Set Member Management as User-Managed.
5. Edit the empty date row, which should be the first row of the table in the left of the current page. Change the value of Day. E.g. Change Day to -.
6. Save the changes of the model.
