3441674 - Tax Determination by Service Level (TM) doesn't work

Symptom

  • In Transportation Management (TM), you can easily settle freight with your service providers or carriers by creating a freight settlement document and posting it to Materials Management (MM).
  • To ensure smooth tax code setup in both SAP TM and ERP, you have diligently followed the KBA 2424664 - Master Data set-up for Tax Code in SAP TM and ERP.
  • However, while reviewing the Services tab of the Freight Service PO item, you have noticed that the Tax pricing element is missing.
  • Upon further analysis in the Pricing section, it has been verified that the 'Tax ind. f. material' (tax indicator for material, KOMP-TAXIM) does not have any available value.
