3441720 - Product Types are not translated to different languages

In CPQ quotes, Product types are not being translated to other languages when set as Default language.

"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."

SAP SALES CLOUD CPQ

1. Go to Setup -> Product Catalog -> Product types -> Select any Product Type, for example "Aircraft" -> Click on the Translate icon beside the Product Type and then select Language as Deutsch / German or Français / French.
2. Now provide it's German translation which is "Flugzeug" or French translation which is "avion" and then Save.
3. Now add the relevant product to quote and then go to User Page and change the Default Dictionary to Deutsch / German -> Save or Français / French -> Save.
4. Go back to the quote and observe that the Product type still shows in English.

This is a bug in the system.

The issue is happening only on Quote 2.0 tenants.

There is no issue with translation in Quote 1.0 tenants.

This issue will be fixed in the SAP CPQ-2408 release, tentatively.
