3441894 - Possible tax item inconsistencies after 2402 upgrade - S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

A coding error that occurs under the below-mentioned conditions was delivered with the S/4HANA Public Cloud 2402 upgrade.

As a result of the error, your tax data might be inconsistent. This these inconsistencies can affect your tax reporting and thus, lead to financial loss or penalties.

A code correction was delivered on March 4, 2024, to correct a coding error. However, our follow-up investigations have indicated that some accounting documents created between February 16, 2024 and March 4, 2024 are impacted in your system.

The error can be occur by the following conditions:

1. 1. Company Codes have RITA active or the company codes are in one of the following countries: GB, HU, SK, IE, PL, RO.
   2. Accounting Documents that were posted between 16.02.2024 (S/4HANA Public Cloud 2402 upgrade) and 04.03.2024 (S/4HANA Public Cloud 2402 SPS 4 hotfix).

A coding error that occurs under the above-mentioned conditions was delivered with the S/4HANA Public Cloud 2402 upgrade.

Use the App Create Advance Return on Sales/Purchase Tax ( AppID: S_ALR_87012357 ) and the App Create Add. List for Advance Return on Sales/Purchase Tax in the production system to find potential inconsistencies in accounting documents with VAT.

Open the apps and enter the following info:
1.    Entry Date/CPU Date: between 16.02.2024 and 04.03.2024
2.    Company Code: Company Codes that have RITA active or are in one of the following countries: GB, HU, SK, IE, PL, RO. 
3.    For each document check the following:
       i.    All the tax codes/tax lines are available in both reports.
       ii.    The total amount for each tax code is the same in both reports.
