3442580 - Rounding problem for components w/ batch management requirement

When confirming a production order or process order. The order receives backflushed components to be handled in batches.
The unit of entry differs from the base unit of measure. Due to rounding problems, the system may display an additional line with a small quantity (without batch number) for a component.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

This problem is caused due to rounding issue if the base UoM is not maintained properly.

We strongly recommend to take the smallest unit of measure used as a base unit of measure to minimize rounding problems.
If the base UoM cannot be changed anymore, use BADI BD_WORKORDER_CONFIRM to adjust the data during goods movement of order confirmation as workaround.
