Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Sales > Sales Orders;
- Open the object ID;
- Go to the facet where you have items, for example, Materials;
- Click on the item;
- Click on edit buttom;
- See the fields such as "Delivery Quantity" and "Open Quantity" are editable;
- Then click on sub-item;
- See those same fields are not editable.
Cause
Sub-items (like BOM, free-goods or substitution) created by external systems (e.g. ERP) are read-only in C4C.
