Symptom

  • Creating a Remote Source Connection with CamelJDBCAdapter (in Datasphere: Generic JDBC connection) to a Snowflake database receives a connection timeout.
  • The framework.trc file contains errors as below:
    • <SessionID> JdbcMetadataBrowser | ExceptionUtil.newAdapterException [] - Failed to query schemas. org.apache.commons.dbcp.SQLNestedException: Cannot create PoolableConnectionFactory (JDBC driver encountered communication error. Message: Exception encountered for HTTP request: Connect to <Snowflake_JDBC_URL> failed: connect timed out (local port <Port> to address <DP_Agent_host>, remote port 443 to address <Snowflake_host>).)
