3442974 - CORS error when searching for products in ASM - SAP Commerce Cloud

Symptom

When searching for a product in website using an emulated session with ASM, nothing is returned and in the console of the browser a CORS error similar to below one is seen:

  • Access to XMLHttpRequest at 'https://endpoint.yourSubscription-public.model-t.cc.commerce.ondemand.com/occ/v2/electronics/products/search?fields=products,pagination,sorts&query=:relevance:allCategories:xx&pageSize=xx' from origin 'https://yourWebsite.com' has been blocked by CORS policy: Request header field sap-commerce-cloud-user-id is not allowed by Access-Control-Allow-Headers in preflight response.
