3443071 - CDS view query could not be opened in RSRT / "InfoProvider does not exist"

Symptom

  • The following error happens when opening a CDS View in Transaction RSRT:
    Query could not be opened! GENUNIID is invalid  <- Message No. BRAIN665
  • Open the same query in Analysis for Office or other SAP supported application:
    Datasource XXXXX not found in system
    InfoProvider XXXXX does not exist
