Error when adding a Row in items for the creation of a new Purchase Order -
"Item 1: Product, product category or tax code of item missing"

Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Purchase Requests and Order work center
- Go to New Purchase Order view
- Select the required Supplier
- Go to items tab and click on Add Row
- Error "Item : Product, product category or tax code of item missing" pops
Cause
- One line item was added without an item. Hence, the system is not able to determine the tax code.
- A line item was added manually as a free text item (description). For such cases, the tax code needs to be added manually.
Resolution
This is the default expected system behavior. As the system is conveying the user that Product, Product Category or Tax code of the items are not entered at the initial stage itself.
A Purchase Order cannot be created without a product , hence the system gives an initial error .
Enter a Product ID, this will automatically determine the Product category and enable tax determination along with fetching all the details related to this Product automatically.
