3443400 - Cannot edit Destination Resource in Process Warehouse Tasks- Picking APP

Symptom

You are unable to fill the field Destination Resource in the "Process Warehouse Tasks - Picking" APP. The field should be editable.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open App Process Warehouse Tasks - Picking
  2. Filter all task with Warehouse Task Status = open
  3. Select Warehouse Task;
  4. Try to fill the field Destination Resource --> field cannot be edited
  5. Check another Warehouse Task;
  6. Try to fill the field Destination Resource --> field cannot be edited

Cause

The Destination Resource field in the "Process Warehouse Tasks- Picking" APP is a read-only field.

Resolution

You have the option to use the "Confirm Warehouse Tasks- Advanced" APP instead of the "Process Warehouse Tasks- Picking" APP. By using this Advanced APP, you can easily edit the "Destination Resource" field for the Warehouse Task.
