3443662 - Unable to create Temporary Work Schedule with overlapping times for the first day and last day

System throws an error "The working times of day 7 and day 1 overlap" when trying to create a temporary work schedule with overlapping times for the first day and last day.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central : Time Management

1. Create a temporary work schedule where the end date of day 7 overlaps with the start time of day 1.
2. System throws an error and does not allow to save.

This is an expected behavior. Work schedules always represent a rotating working pattern and hence system will not allow any overlap, even if it is temporary work schedule.

The following workarounds can be used to achieve your requirement:

1. Use temporary time information for each day instead of for the whole week.
2. Use a work schedule that has Day 1 to Day 6 and then add a single day temporary time information for Day 7.
