3443744 - Difference between the source system type "SAP Application Server ABAP" and "SAP S/4HANA On-Premise" in IPS

Symptom

When provisioning users from a SAP S/4HANA on premise system to any target system, both type SAP Application Server ABAP and SAP S/4HANA On-Premise can be used for the source system. This KBA is created to explain the difference between the two source system types in IPS.
