3444114 - "Send Mail" failed in SBPA

Symptom

  •  SAP Build Process Automation (SBPA) Mail task execution fails and the process shows the runtime message "Send Mail" failed.

  •  Monitoring logs show:

     The destination service did not return authorization data for destination 'sap_process_automation_mail' using authentication type 'OAuth2Password'. The error message returned was: 'AADSTS900144: The request body must contain the following parameter: 'scope'.
