Cause

The fixed Asset for which you are trying to perform the Partial Transfer of Fixed Asset uses an Account Determination Group, where account determination is missing for item type Proportionally Accumulated Regular Depreciation.

You have already maintained Accumulated depreciation for one of the missing Account Determination group for fixed assets by following the below steps:

  1. Go to Business Configuration Work Center.
  2. Go to Overview View.
  3. Search and open the activity Charts of Accounts, Financial Reporting Structures, Account Determination.
  4. Click Fixed Assets under Account Determination.
  5. Go to the Depreciation tab.
  6. Maintain the missing accumulated depreciation for the missing one.

Even after maintaining this configuration, you are still facing the above mentioned error message.

Resolution

If you check in the Business Configuration side based on those Assets 'AAA'(Transfer starts with) and Asset 'BBB'(receiving part),

  1. Go to Business Configuration Work Center.
  2. Go to Overview View.
  3. Search and open the activity Charts of Accounts, Financial Reporting Structures, Account Determination.
  4. Click Fixed Assets under Account Determination.
  5. Go to the Depreciation tab.
  6. Under Accumulated Depreciation, you will see the G/L account maintained for Historic Cost & depreciation correctly for sending part(Acct. Determination group 2001) whereas the G/L account is not maintained for receiving part(Acct. Determination group 2002)

Because of this you are getting this configuration error message. Also adding in, if the Asset 'BBB' at receiver end is AuC Asset class, this means it's not a complete Fixed asset. So it is not recommended to transfer the values of IMAT from completed Fixed Asset to AuC.
