Symptom
Creating "Oracle" connection for Data Flows in Datasphere and validating it, results in a pop-up with the following message:
"ORA-12545: Connect failed because target host or object does not exist"

Reproducing the Issue
- Logon to Datasphere tenant
- Display "Local Connections" for your Space in "Space Management"
- Select the connection type "Oracle" and use "Validate Connection" button
- Error message is displayed
Cause
Oracle database is not available on the public internet.
Resolution
Before using the connection for data flows, the following is required:

To directly consume data in data flows, the Oracle database must be available on the public internet.
